New & Renewal Cambodian Driver’s License for Foreigners

Renewal of Driver’s License
within 5 working days
New Driver’s License
within 7 working days (subject to public holidays)
Driving in Cambodia without a valid Cambodian Driver’s License is strictly prohibited. The license validity period is 10 years for Cambodian citizens and 1 year (renewable) for foreign drivers. Foreign drivers over the age of 60 are required to undergo a general medical checkup, which incurs an additional fee.

- Original passport
- Valid Business Visa or e-Visa
- Six (6) passport-sized photos (4 x 6 cm, white background)
- Original national driver’s license
- Current address endorsement from the Village Chief and Section Leader
- Medical certificate (required if over 60 years old)
