How to register the Right-hand Drive (RHD) Vehicles in Cambodia

To apply for a new License Plate, the RHD Vehicle's Owner must have an Import Tax

1. To get an Import Tax, RHD Vehicle's Owner must change the Steering Wheel to Left-hand Drive (LHD);

2. After changing the Steering Wheel, take the car to the MOT place to get a Certificate of Inspection;

3. Then take attach the Certificate of the MOT to the Ministry of Public Works and Land Transport to the Customs and Tax Office to pay for an Import Tax and get the sticker.

4. Then take the Tax Payment Certificate from the Customs and Tax Office to the Ministry of Public Works and Land Transport to make a new License Plate.
